Fragile Infant Feeding Institute 2010
The Fragile Infant Feeding Institute is a four and a half day intensive study of feeding and nutrition for infants with special needs. FIFI 2010 will be held in Colorado in a comfortable hotel setting, encouraging close interaction between the faculty and participants. The faculty represent both clinical and research perspectives, providing an evidence-based offering with a focus on practical application. Particular emphasis is placed on the neurodevelopmental aspects of infant feeding, supporting the infant-parent relationship, and the development of systems to support best practice.

Colorado's Individualized Family Service Plan Training
This is a required training for all Early Intervention Coordinators/Directors and Service Coordinators. Other suggested participants are: Early Childhood Assessment Team members, Early Interventionists, LICC members, and community partners. It is recommended that you attend as a community team, as there are opportunities for systems work within this training.

Individualized Family Service Plans for Newborns and Young Infants
This workshop will address the development of the high risk infant, the NICU IFSP, and more. The workshop is suitable for Child Find, Early Intervention professionals, hospital professionals, public health nurses, service coordinators, and others who work with families of newborns with special health care and developmental needs.

Brain-based Early Mental Health Consultation, Intervention & Play Therapy for Clinicians & Educators Serving Early Childhood Settings: A focus on Controlling, Agressive, & Tantruming Children Ages 1-6, featuring Barry Chaloner, MEd., LPC
Training on DC: 0-3R
Two days of Introductory Training is recommended for all clinicians who are planning to use the Diagnostic Classification of Mental Health and Developmental Disorders of Infancy and Early Childhood (DC: 0-3R) in their practice and have not had prior training on DC:0-3R.

The Week: Colorado Educational Interpreter and Teachers of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Skill Building Training
Participants will be involved in 30 hours of sign language activities. Workshop topics/activities include but are not limited to ASL Grammar and Structure, Facial Grammar, ASL Morphology and Non-Manual Behavior, Fingerspelling/Number Incorporation, Sign Vocabulary Building, Classifiers and Directionality, Use of Space, Discourse Analysis, and Educational Vocabulary for History/Math/Science/Literacy.
