Connect US Summer Camp 2009
Some kids are naturally drawn to social settings such as community sports programs, music, theater or other “outgoing” activities.  Many kids are just shy, self-conscious, or lack the self-confidence they need to blossom into the people we know they can be! Others may be naturally outgoing, but have a difficult time making friends or retaining friendships.  The root-causes may be due to “wiring” or genetics-introverted, gifted and talented, learning differences or sensory issues, physical size or athletic ability. The causes may also be emotional, such as having divorced parents, losing a loved one, having a chronically ill family member, a new home and school or they simply feel different or misunderstood. The Connect US Summer camp provides both structured and unstructured games that focus on team-building, conflict resolution, appreciating diversity, cooperation,  flexibility, sportsmanship and humor!
Summer Camp runs from June 23rd through August 14th
